Alycia Ikegami
Alycia is a problem-solver with a Designer Mindset. As an operations associate, she tackles internal operations and supports project management. Her support includes reporting, invoicing, financial planning, contract management and governance. She builds tools for consistent operations to help execute best practices at GKI. Alycia is a communications specialist bringing a diverse skill set in brand development, intercultural mediation, and design.
Before joining GKI in 2021, Alycia worked as a program coordinator at GPI US where she facilitated education programs for middle school to college-age students. Prior to GPI US, she has collected a wide range of experience including several consulting projects. At ICRISAT, she and her team identified strategic development partners to promote a cross-sector and to research methods of reducing poverty, hunger, food scarcity, and environmental degradation in the dryland tropic. This opportunity led to her time as a research consultant with Walmart Inc. to improve the dignity of women in the supply chain.
Alycia holds a B.A. in communications with an emphasis in public relations and minors in international development and design from Brigham Young University. During her time at BYU, she was a Ballard Scholar for social impact. In her free time, she can be found working on her family history, exploring the local trails, or tinkering in the kitchen.
