Manmeet leads client engagements for a range of GKI partners including USAID and The Rockefeller Foundation. Manmeet focuses on designing strategies and programs to incorporate innovation and systems thinking, training and capacity development, and facilitation to support problem solving and strategy development across networks working on complex development challenges. She also serves as an internal advisor to teams working on projects across all GKI program areas. Manmeet is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with potential funders and collaborators, and leads most proposal and budget development activities for the GKI team.

Manmeet has more than 14 years of expertise in the corporate and social sector working on a range of issue areas from access to capital, strategy design and implementation, sourcing and scaling innovations, strategic philanthropy, and grantmaking. She has extensive experience in building and managing global partnerships and designing and scaling programs, including The GlobalGiving  Accelerator, opening up a $270 billion US philanthropic markets to social entrepreneurs and nonprofits from more than 110 countries.  A passion for strengthening the ecosystem for sustainable impact has guided her work since – from creating access to philanthropic capital markets to building global multi-sectoral partnerships to support the design and scaling of problems faced by networks of entrepreneurs.  Manmeet has also worked at Atlas Corps, HSBC-India, The Taj Group of Hotels, The Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation, and Ashoka in Washington, DC.

She is fluent in three languages and has a background in Economics and graduate degrees in International Relations (M.A.) as well as Business Administration (M.B.A). She strongly believes in ‘work as play’, and when not at work she enjoys traveling, swimming, and experimenting with new recipes.
