Junior Program Officer
Hannah supports GKI’s Systems Research and Evaluation portfolio. In this role, she scopes out the innovation assets and capacities of countries, institutions, and individuals to accompany GKI’s work with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s InnovationXchange. After joining the GKI team in 2017, Hannah hit the ground running, exploring new frontiers where GKI is poised for impact, such as at the convergence of conflict, development, and innovation systems.
Prior to her time at GKI, Hannah worked in Mozambique building Small and Medium Enterprises’ capacity to link up with larger businesses and in Senegal—the love of her life—managing a study abroad program. An avid Kenken player and terrible sabaar dancer, Hannah spends most of her time in DC trying to take an active role in promoting positive peace in her local community. She studied International Development at the George Washington University and received her Master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy focusing on Evidence-based International Leadership.
